Not stating the truth on their booking site. Driver does not operate airport as mentioned. Nightshift receiption Guard leaves a late arrival exposed to dangers of the thiefs walking around. I had opened a criminal case and is awaiting this false pretences of services to be handles by a criminal court. Plus when l arrive on this booking "my booking was cancelles without any notice and again the same business and now other employes try to coverup the crime of the case l made and police said they will arrest whom is incharge since its not allowed to leave a person on a booking in life danger, worst of all they do not take it serious the damages they cause to a guest, police informed tourism and the City Councill of this businesses irregular business conduct. I am awaiting all criminal prosesses against my being exposed to danger by this business.

Weird staff let themselves into room unannounced

Hostel is in a great location with a nice kitchen and pool are. The rooms are basic but comfortable and nice. Good bedding and pillows and lockers are provided. Access to shared bathrooms is good. The only things I would suggest for improvement are to provide hand soap in communal bathrooms, provide shower gel in showers. I also felt that the check out process needs improving as I felt really uncomfortable and rushed to leave my room. Check out was at 11am and I had people letting themselves into my room via the code at 10am to ‘notify me that check out was at 11am’. Firstly, I’m well aware of when check out is, secondly knock ok the door and ask to enter rather than just letting yourself into someone’s room and thirdly, there is no need to do this multiple times. I understand that you want people to check out on time, but I found this to be rude and not needed. Also I had someone let themselves into my room in the middle of the day after the cleaner had already been, she came in, looked around and then left.. it was very odd and made me feel like my possessions in my room weren’t safe. Due to these reasons I wouldn’t return to this hostel. It’s a shame as the facilities are nice, and location is great.

Uncomfortable stay.

As we are older ladies of almost 60 years, we expected a bit more consideration.We struggled to get onto the upstairs beds that was kept for us,and getting down was another mission.Had to go ask for a regular stepladder on the second day.Also, there is no chair or table for the 4 upstairs guests in the dorm.So please consider the guests on the upstairs beds in the future.I will definitely not stay there again.

スタッフはフレンドリーで親切。ツアーの確認や空港送迎の手配をしてもらいました。私は参加できませんでしが、独自のツアーなども実施していました。洗濯も2分くらいのところにランドリーがあり、朝出すと、夕方にはできてきます。タオル、バスタオルや石鹸、シャンプーがあればさらに使いやすいと思います。

Great place to stay, it has a great location near the stadium and the city center, walking distance from the Water Front. For me there were only two things that I did not expect: 1. the breakfast was very basic, but upon reflection, it reflected the price, it's a hostel of course and not a 5* hotel. If you need a great breakfast there a nice restaurant(forgot the name) no more than a 5 min walk from there. 2. I was freezing! I stayed in a room for 4 people and while we had 2 heaters it was still quite cold for me when not under the blanket, it was alright, but just a little unconfortable to get dressed or shower in the morning. Overall it's one of the best hostels I've stayed at in over 40 countries I've visited, very friendly staff and great location.

O local é muito bom, muito limpo, agradável, porém tivemos problema com o pagamento. Mesmo com pagamento antecipado, quando fizemos reserva pelo Hoteis.com. No checkout tivemos que pagar novamente sob alegação de que o cartão não havia autorizado o pagamento, porém checamos que parte do pagamento já havia sido debitado do cartão.

Awesome hostel with activities

I had a great experience staying here. Met beautiful people, friendly and helpful staff and it was convenient to walk to waterfront and find good food around the area. Furthermore, they provide activities everyday so you will never feel alone or left out.

Amazing staff and awesome breakfast

I had a wonderful time there, The staff was super nice and even took me with them on privat surfing trips. The breakfast was the best I ever had and super healthy.

A Hostel for backpackers & Partners!!

Visited Cape Town early February looking for a reasonable priced accommodation in a private double room. Located in green point an ideal location due to transportation links around the hostel as well as walking distance to the pier. It is also close to some great food joints such as Rocco mama's (Highly recommended), lions head mountain and a local supermarket. The room itself is basic but that coincides with the price as you are not paying a lot for a night so a basic room was expected. The room consists of Double Bed, 2 side draws, Wall mount TV, tall slim cupboard and a separate bathroom as well as a window which has bars attached on the outside. . Due to the severe drought in Cape Town the hostel like to enforce a only flush rule if it's essential and when your showering to do so in a large water so they can collect the water every night and use it for other resources such as gardens and filtering. The hostel have a great way of reaching out and bringing backpackers and hostel users together by organising daily activity boards so you know what is on and use their sister company ‘Atlantic Outlook to organise water based activities. Overall a great hostel to stay at whether you’re a Backpacker or even a couple looking for a cheap yet efficient accommodation.

Excellent value for money, centrally placed.

Friendly and accommodating staff, although a Backpackers hostel, accommodated all age groups and the private facility rooms were lovely. Great value for money and flexibility with meals as there was a communal kitchen.

I had a pleasure of staying in a female dorm which consists of 4 beds- 2 bunks each. Dorm has a private bathroom with 2 showers. Staff was ok, breakfast could be more varied- every day the same things land on your plate. Buffe lt should be considered as a new solution

Excellent Budget Hostel In Cape Town

Atlantic was great find for me. The location is excellent. The staff and guests are lovely. Everything you need from a budget accommodation. There are also loads of activities to do with the hostel so there is never a dull moment.
