If it's not open do NOT waste your time... I thought I just wouldn't be able to go in the lighthouse after 5 pm but they actually close the ENTIRE area. Probably nice enough when they are open but a complete waste of drive if they not.
Cost $20 per person to walk around the area and walk up in the light house. Nice view from above when in lighthouse but nothing spectacular. It’s a little bit out of the way, would suggest skipping and going straight to 12 Apostles.
