"Upon arrival, the air conditioning in our room was not working. However, the staff was extremely helpful and responded promptly by moving us to another room where the air conditioning worked perfectly. Getting to the beach was very convenient. We simply called for the resort’s transportation service, and they were always quick and reliable in picking us up from our room and taking us to the beach. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and would gladly return."

Hotel Riu Guanacaste - All Inclusive

"I like the fact that we were able to check in early in the morning, front desk was friendly, bar tenders not so much some of them looked fed off with their job and you can tell. Our room smell like drainage tho, im thinking they have problems with the vents or thats how it is there idk. Other than that the resort in general is beautiful well maintained! Pura Vida!"

Nekajui Peninsula Papagayo, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

"We stayed at the family tree top tent for 5 nights and it was an amazing experience. Nekajui's location is absolutely prime, and the wildlife outside our tent and around the property was unreal! They assign a Mantu to help you schedule reservations and ours was very helpful. The service for a Ritz Carlton Reserve however, could be a bit better at times. Sometimes service can be a bit slow, especially by the main pool. We also had a pretty good sized plunge pool but it was only cleaned when we requested it. There are tons of insects around (since its in the forest) so a daily quick cleaning would have been appreciated. However, they are a new property so they still have growing pains and I believe this will be the crown jewel of the Papagayo Peninsula soon. There are some good food options and great adventures you can book right on site, and a complimentary shuttle is there to take you to nearby resorts in the Peninsula and Papagayo Park, which can't be missed if you have kids! All in all, we are so glad we chose Nekajui for our first time visiting Costa Rica and we will return."
