RV Parks in Cantón Liberia

"We went for a week with two kids (10 and 8) and had the best week. We did the all inclusive, which I would suggest as the à la carte prices add up, especially with drinks. The beach is amazing and so easy to access. We seam in the pool for hours every day. The food was great, especially at the Italian restaurant that you have to reserve in the morning. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fulsome every day. We had such a fun time. We would love to go back some day. "

"Very nice peoperty. My mountain view cabin was amazing! No view of mountain but there's a great view 2 mins walk away at the Miraflores Restaurant. Rough road getting in. Hotel arranged a taxi for us to the airport in Liberia, $100 US cash. The road conditions are an issue. I personally wouldn't drive my own vehicle on this path. Hotel should get this paved. It’s not an issue that it's gravel per se, the issue is more like how uneven it is and the hilly parts have pot holes that were reminiscent of my atv jungle tour. Included breakfast buffet - but had limited options and food wasn't hot. 4/10 both days. My son opted for cereal and he's not a cereal kid. Fruit was fresh and delicious. If ordering a coffee at one of the restaurants, ask for milk separately. I like a little milk (still mid brown colour but staff adds too much and makes it a light beige. No longer tastes like coffee). Miraflores restaurant used a sad, old pineapple slice for my Pina Colado. Had a perfect one at Jaguar Restaurant (next to reception). Pool is nice but no changeroom/washroom. Closest is at hotel reception. Can easily renovate one of the rooms that's right by the pool. Bar menu at pool is limited and again, without a washroom I wasn't keen to order more than one drink. And only ordered 1 total. Change this "one thing" and sales will increase dramatically"

"My room wasn’t ready at check in time. Waited 30 mins in line up to check in so it was 1/2 hour after check in time to be told we had to wait 45 mins for our room to be ready, then had to wait in the line again for 15 mins to get the keys. Room was clean but the bathroom had mold. Staff in restaurant was friendly but very slow. Pool was being used after dark and no light in the pool, very dangerous!! "

"We had an amazing one week vacation at Riu Guanacaste! The staff was always there for you and very friendly, yet their presence was very discrete at the same time. On site restaurants offerred a variety of delicios cuisines, for all tastes and preferences. The beach is very large, with fine sand and populated with more long chairs than people on the beach at any given time. Night shows were completing our days at this beautiful resort. Gracias a todos! Hope to be back soon!"

"We’ve been to this property three times. Love it, but you can tell that it’s getting dated. But that’s being rectified this August when they close the property for a full renovation. According to the staff, we talked to it’s going to be a full remodel, and I would expect it to be top shelf across the board."

"The building was run down. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. When trying to check out to go to the airport to catch a flight, they wanted us to wait until they searched our room to make sure we didn’t steal anything. We would not come back to this location. "
