Would love to stay again. Maybe just a little too far from the city with not particularly good public transport close by ? 「Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.」

「Markus, formerly known as 21 Foch, just opened. It is a lovely 14-bedroom, boutique hotel. A coffee shop and beautiful outdoor space is slated for completion by September 2025, but guests may partake of breakfast onsite before then. The hotel is close to the train station, and centrally located to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Despite proximity to the city landscape, the facility is quiet and peaceful. 「Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much.」

「It's a real château with huge rooms. It's very quite and cozy , the view's perfect. However , there were some flies in our room that we spent 10 mins to get THEM out of the room. Free wifi and free breakfast.」
