"Honestly a very well hidden gem. The online pictures do not do it justice. The 2 suggestions I will provide are (1) the food on site are very expensive (2) there was no lotion in the room, usually hotels provide this so most people do not travel with their own."

"If you are looking for a place to stay in Saratoga Springs, I highly recommend the Bluebird Spa City Motor Lodge. Other than the Adelphi Hotel, which is next door, there is no better location! Just remember to bring slippers. When the place was renovated, cement floors were very trendy. The staff is super friendly! And very helpful!!"

"An absolute gem in Saratoga Springs! My girlfriend and I stayed in the Linda room for a night, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and full of historic charm. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Sarah and Chad are fantastic, so welcoming and friendly! They clearly care deeply about the property and love sharing its history. Chad whipped up a delicious breakfast, and we really enjoyed chatting with him while we ate. Afterward, Sarah was kind enough to give us a tour around the grounds. It’s rare to find a place that feels this personal and well cared for. Highly recommend Union Gables, and we will definitely be back!"

"I felt this hotel was overpriced for what I got. They had to change my room because the dark window shade was broken and wouldn’t open at all. That room was dark and depressing. I didn’t understand how to raise and lower the temperature in my room. The staff member’s solution was to have me just reave it off which was not a good solution. I also didn’t understand how to turn on the fan in the bathroom. The staff says I didn’t need to turn anything on as it is on all the time and just quiet. I didn’t like not having control of the fan in the bathroom. Also there was no pen or pencil and no pad of paper in the rooms."

"I have been to this hotel many times but was disappointed this time that the bar and restaurant were closed until after July 4th except limited weekend hours. There wasn't even coffee available other than the small keurig machines in the hotel rooms. The hotel was clean but the room I was in had chipped paint and the dresser had scratches, etc. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. There is ample parking but if you have luggage you would want to drop off at the front door before parking as there is no valet service. I will explore other options in the future."
