"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. Kevin also gave us a map outlining the hike options, distance of each hike and horse back...

"This property was such a pleasant surprise. It ended up being my favorite stay of my whole trip. The staff is so attentive and you can't beat starting the day already inside the park. I transferred to Senda Watapuy because I thought it would be better with the pool but it was actually kind of a step down from Zirwa. Definitely would come back here! The only negative thing was the hot water went out. The staff immediately called someone to fix it (replace the gas) then it worked for 2 seconds and stopped again. It's not really a big deal though as hot showers are definitely more of a luxury here in Colombia."

"Amo que la terraza cierre tarde y el restaurante también si pudiera sugerir una mejora sería dejar la piscina abierta hasta las 10 o algo más tarde pero todo lo demás excelente desde la comida, a la atención, a la vista con gran ubicación. "Villa Tayrona exceeded my expectations. The property is peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain and sky views. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the food. I had the arroz verde Tayrona with shrimp and a coconut limonada, and they were so delicious that I ordered them again the next night! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout my stay. Lena made transportation from Barranquilla airport simple and stress-free and even arranged food and drinks for my late-night arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also appreciated how helpful everyone was with explaining local bus transportation, which turned out to be the easiest and most affordable way for me to get around. The location is perfect — within walking distance to Tayrona National Park. The friendly dogs and cats on the property made the experience feel even more warm and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Colombia. 🌞💛"

"I booked a hotel room for the night of the 16th. I was unable to check in because they were full / sold out. I ended up having to dispute the charge and reservation with Hotels.com and this hotel. This hotel refused to refund the money and blamed Hotels.com, and Hotels.com blamed the hotel. Neither wanted to accountable and do the right thing, so I ended up with no hotel and out the money for the room."

"Our stay at the hotel was alright. It was three of us in the room but unfortunately everytime we recieved towels we would only be restocked with two and only provided the body towel rather than a hand towel as well. The shower in the bathroom also looked and sounded like it was about to fall off (picture attached). The pool was nice and the area is quiet but not too much to do around. The staff however created a lot of confusion when there was miscommunication about breakfast being included. We were under the impression breakfast was included in what we paid and our first day they took our room number and let us through without saying anything different. The next day however, they let us in for breakfast and only after we finished one rude hotel employee who was standing at the table where we come in for breakfast asked us to pay which then we went to speak to the front desk lady who also told us upon check in that we had breakfast included when our friend mentioned it. Unfortunately the interactions with the staff made our stay disappointing and made us wish we had booked with the regular Hilton instead."

"The best of the property is its staff, friendly and always ready to assist with anything no matter what it is. The breakfast is basic but fresh, with that unique homemade touch and made to order. There's no live channels included, only apps, but who cares, no one would go on vacation to Santa Marta to stay in the hotel room watching tv. Special thanks to Geraldine and Kelly, they always went above and beyond to make my stay more enjoyable"
