A fabulous find! Quirky and beautifully decorated rooms and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic too, we loved our stay! The hotel is on the outskirts of theain town centre but easy to walk to bars and restaurants in 10-15mins

Loved it from start to finish. Quirky, retro hotel. Secure parking right outside the hotel. Got a free upgrade to a mini suite on arrival. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was great, complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. The icing on the cake was the extra mile the staff went, we had a tyre blow out soon after leaving the hotel, the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful, calling companies to come out to us and replace it, thank you

Superb stay!

Fabulous stay! The owner was so attentive to our needs and helped us arrange transportation to various sites in the area. Breakfast was fantastic. The hotel was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Gorgeous focus on design. This is an artsy, youthful place with very friendly staff anxious to please. Immediate surrounding neighborhood might be unappealing but its a ahort walk into the busy, amicable, working class city.

The staff at The Abies were very welcoming and friendly. Communication via messaging was great with quick replies and all quieries were answered. The place is quite exceptional and somewhat quirky with its decor. You couldn't fault the cleanliness of the place -it was very clean. The location was good with restuarants and shops nearby. Some of the area around the hotel is not up to standard with lots of rubbish in places but the cleanliness of The Abies made up for it. We liked it here that we added on an extra 2 nights. We can't comment on the breakfast because we never had it here. The property supplies plenty of towels and bottled water with tea and coffee. There is an electric jug, cups and glasses in the room.There was also a packet of biscuits in our room which were very welcome. I definitely recommend this property.

The staff were great and the hotel had a lot of character. I asked for the breakfast and was not disappointed. The room was small but perfect for me, with everything very new and chosen to match the design theme. The hotel was in easy walking distance to the central district, though some of the side streets nearby are a little rougher (I did not feel unsafe). If I am in Canakkale again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

Pleasant stay

Very good stay at The Abies. The welcome and the service are pleasant, the room very clean and warm. You feel good in this cozy little hotel. Just one downside, the view from the room which overlooks the facade of another building.

One of the best hospitality experience

One of the best hospitality experience in Canakkale. Decorated with style, comfortable rooms, nice location and good hospitality. Hotel designed and operated with a good vision. Unexpected and rare experience in a small city. Its like a boutique hotel in London, Amsterdam or New York SoHo with an economic staying budget. :) Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this hotel and the owner. It exuded style in every corner. Ignore the area outside - it’s a bit downbeat - but the interior is a designers delight - modern, fresh, colourful; it’s really quite a find and perfectly placed for exploring the town and the Gallipoli war graves. The owner is very helpful. Thanks to him we ate at two world class restaurants. More importantly our room was cool and welcoming with plenty of space and beautifully decorated. If modern design is your ‘thing’ then try The Abies. It won’t disappoint.
