Beautiful grounds and pool. Beach disappointing, but quiet. Music every evening went on too late, near hotel rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffets excellent, but very difficult to get to anywhere else to dine as shuttle returned to hotel at 6pm. Hire car would be useful, but not essential as there are trains and taxis available.

Poor choice by us booked 14days left after 6 days .. beach like a builders yard .. only one Resturant for dinner buffet average quality and limited choice poor wine selection staff don’t want be there .. no restaurants near hotel all 30+ mins away and poor quality.. nice pool .. bar ran like a 1980’s place poor choice of wine no draught beer limited bottles.. breakfast same everyday limited fresh fruit mainly tinned stuff couldn’t stay in this time warp .foe 14 days . room supposed to be garden view mainly a bunch of pebbles and a row of scruffy trees … we had to leave

Lots of pros, lots of cons

A two part review. Pros - a large hotel with great infrastructure, lovely rooms, first class friendly service, huge pool, amazingly clean and superb attractive gardens. Cons - the food was mass catering, buffet style, edible but bland and not especially well presented. The beach was truly horrible. Very pebbly, seriously uncomfortable to walk on, painful to get into the sea and not very attractive to sunbathe on (although beds around the pool were plentiful and comfortable. Pool side bar and toilets were not up to standard. The hotel is some distance from any village or attractions so a car is needed although the hotel does provide a shuttle service to Palermo and Cefalu. Also there were day trips arranged by the hotel. A decent chef and a bulldozer to the beach are essential to make this a stand out hotel worthy of all 4 stars.

Awesome 4-star resort experience

Wonderful resort, with everything you could expect of a 4-star resort in Europe. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Guests are mainly locals, so not too touristy. The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner buffets, with plenty of options of tasty (both local and international) variations of food. The pool is huge, with both a child friendly part with shallow water, and a part with deeper water, great for swimming etc. Staff is very friendly, polite and makes sure the guests are having a good time. The resort is located 20mins drive from Cefalù, but there is no public transport, so expect to spend some money on transport/taxi if you want to visit the beautiful city of Cefalù. Price for the taxi is 35€ one way, if you book with the Hotel. Local taxis charge 50€ or more. We will definitely be back.

Resort has loud music until midnight every night so don’t plan on sleeping until after midnight. Every day loud announcers at the pool over the speakers and music is played so loud there is no way to relax. The food is awful which is so sad because Sicily is known for good food. We ended up taking a taxi into town for dinners but taxis are only available until 10pm and have to be pre arranged so it’s not convenient. So you have to get back from dinner by 10pm or you are stuck. Two massages at the spa were awful they are not well trained or experienced. The spa itself was pretty but the loud announcing and loud speaker from the pool again makes it where it’s hard to relax. Facilities were clean and nice.

Helt ok hotel. Fin frokost - middag også men ikke wow, forskjellig utvalg men kjedelige smaker. En må jo kjøpe alt, ingen butikker i nærheten. Ved innsjekk blir en belastet for solsenger, minigolf, strandhånkle. Dyrt me taxi og ca 40 min til nærmeste by. Fint bassengområdet,, stranden veldig mye stein i sjøen, så ubehahelig å bade hvis Bølger. Savnet også te/kaffe koker på rom Mye maur på rom til våre venner og i fellesområdene Hadde nok valgt et hotel som var mer sentralt

Fint ophold med half board, og der var et fint udvalg af mad, der er stille ikke megen larm kun om aftenen fra underholdning med musik, stranden er ikke noget, men pool så flot og lækker, der er ikke helt nok liggestole, men det går, det kræver en bil, der er ikke noget udenfor hotellet, god oplevelse

Alles super. Tennisplatz beton wie überall auf sizilien und getränke und essen sehr teuer im hotel. Super sauber und persoal sehr nett. Autobahn hört man und man riecht teilweise die abgase. Ansonsten istdie anlagetraumhaft. Der strand könnte noch schöner angelegt sein.

Très bel hôtel ça s arrête là pour ce qui y est de l hôtel … petit déjeuner catastrophique limite irrespectueux envers la clientèle … café au niveau d une cafétéria de station service alors qu en Italie le café est excellent partout nourriture dans l ensemble petit dej dej dîner très mauvais et indigne d un hôtel de ce standing … concernant la chambre literie de mauvaise qualité frigidaire qui ne refroidit rien pour j imagine inciter les clients à consommer au bar de l hôtel …. Ma seule bonne note concernera la piscine et l accueil du spa du 4 eme étage qui fut parfait ainsi que la piscine de l hôtel qui est très sympa également … je ne reviendrais pas

Wir haben 500 Euro Aufpreis bezahlt für Meer Sicht.obwohl unsere Zimmer auf dritte Stock gewesen, wegen starke Vegetation und Entfernung das Meer nur im Hintergrund nur erahnen können. Strand ist total mit Steinen überfüllt, Baden fast unmöglich. Musik überall,am Pool ,im Lobby und jeder Tag bis Mitternacht lautes musikalische Unterhaltung, Ohrstöpsel erforderlich. Getränke Preise völlig überrissen. Sonst alles wie Tresor oder Badetuch mit Aufpreis belegt. Zimmer sind eher klein, das Fernseher hat Kleinformat und empfängt nur ard,zdf und 3sat. Das Essen in büffet Form, recht reichhaltig aber nach vierte Tag weiss man nicht was man noch essen soll. Auf die Frage ob wir diese Anlage weiterempfehlen würde, wäre unsere Antwort eher nein, trotzt wunderschöne poollandschaft und Gartenanlage. Wir haben kein einzigesmal das Gefühl gehabt hier ein Gast zu sein sondern nur als zahlende Melkkuh zu sein. Eigentlich schade.

Acacia Resort

We enjoyed our weekend visit. Enough cannot be said for the hospitality, kindness and professional staff. We truly enjoyed the pool. Breakfast had lots of options. Housekeeping, Front desk, spa, and restaurant very professional and friendly. We will try to return.

resort molto curato immerso nel verde con una piscina a dir poco stupenda e sempre pulita dove passare giornate in totale relax insieme alla nostra piccola.. ci siamo trovati benissimo grazie alla cordialità del personale sempre attento e gentile e soprattutto grazie ai ragazzi dell'animazione che sempre gentili e mai invadenti dal primo minuti ci hanno fatto sentire al nostro agio.. cibo buonissimo e di ampia scelta, e camera con vista piscina spettacolare .. unica piccola pecca i prezzi del bar un po alti
