"The hotel is a minute's walk from the lake and 5 minutes to the train station. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was good, compared to the typical Italian continental fare. There's a small refrigerator in the room, but unfortunately, no kettle."

"Great rustic apartment complex close to lakeside at Castiglione del Lago. The apartments are a good size, well equipped, and comfortably furnished. Everything was in good condition and (importantly....) worked! The setting is lovely as the apartments are within a beautifully maintained garden landscape, with tennis courts and immaculate pool complete with sunbed terrace. The town is a 5 minute car drive away and there are many choices all around the lake to stop for food and/or drinks. Overall, if you want a quiet base to chill and be the base for visiting the local towns, this is a great choice!"

"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."
