"Great upgrade Really enjoyed the stay"

"My husband and I stayed for one night at the Dry Cottage in Ivy on Glenelg and were blown away by how cosy and comfy it was. We reached in the evening and initially considered eating out but decided to stay in after seeing how well equipped the cottage was with all manner of creature comforts. The Dry Cottage comprises just one room with an ensuite bathroom, but thanks to the clever optimisation of space, the room fits a bed, two sofas and a TV, a lounge area, a dining table, a kitchen area with a dishwasher and fridge, and even a washing machine. For those who wish to cook, the kitchen includes rice, a variety of pasta, instant noodles, various condiments and equipment (even a rice cooker!) for your use. Breakfast provisions were very generous as well - a variety of bread, cereals, milk, juice, muffins, and delicious yoghurt with fresh berries. Fret not about getting bored too, as the owners have thoughtfully provided books and DVDs for your enjoyment. Was impressed as well by how the bathroom had senior friendly features like handlebars and seats. The only small downside was that the Wifi didnt work very well when we were there, but overall it was a fantastic experience. Thanks to our hosts for your warmth and hospitality!"

"It was an ideal location for our visit to Evandale, close to everything we wanted to do and very well presented. The cottage is nicely renovated, it was warm (a must in a Tassie autumn) and quiet. We didn’t have a lot to do with the owners but found the lady very friendly when we did. Definitely recommended."

"We only stayed 1 night after our flight but the room was lovely and homely, in excellent condition and beautifully furnished. There was a nice selection of bread and cereals for breakfast and Bev was there to greet us when we checked in. There is a solar heated pool to relax in as well. I would highly recommend the Wellington Bed and Breakfast. "

"This is a lovely property - blends in beautifully with the surroundings. You feel you are part of nature and can enjoy close up encounters with local wildlife. We were fortunate to meet the caretakers who took time to introduce us to the area and how to get the best out of the stay. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. "This inn is a quaint gem just 1/2 hr from LST airport. We stayed there the night before leaving Tasmania. Sue greeted us with a smile and a made us feel welcome fight from the start with a cup of tea and scones. Although we didn’t have dinner there, the menu her daughter Esther had put together looked wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room spacious and clean. Our continental breakfast started us off well for our travel day. Thanks Sue for your hospitality and wonderful conversation! "
