A very small room, smaller than anticipated for 2 guests. Expected 2 single beds & ended up with a double, arrived after midnight & couldn’t be bothered to walk back to reception to request a change. The hostel is out of the way so it was quiet & peaceful, we hardly saw anyone. Walking distance (up hill) to the main hotel & facilities which were great. I’d stay again but would want a bigger room.

The room was big and clean with a nice outlook. The property doesn't have it's own staff and the location feels a bit isolated. At check-in I was given an armband and told that it was for security purposes (so that security guards would identify me as a hostal guest). In combination with the isolated location and because I was travelling alone this made me feel a bit uneasy.

There was no functioning wifi inside the building it only worked when I went on the patio. The fan broke on my second night but they were quick to bring a replacement in the morning! Everything else was great

Very nice stay....I found few nice roommates and the staff was outstanding!! Really good people working in the hotel. And even the hostel does not have reception...u get to use all the services in the hotel that is 2 min walking. Really good experience!! Also, it was my birthday during those days and the hotel gave me a bottle of a really nice cava!!

Floridita as a good option for inexpensive holiday

My stay at Floridita hostel was a good experience. The building is quite new and clean, very close to the local beach. All rooms have balconies so I could enjoy beautiful view of the sea. I was swimming every day up to 6 times a day, though water temperature during my stay from 26.04 until 12.05.17 was only +17C! But I'm from a Northern country so it was OK. That was my first trip to Spain and I fell in love with this beautiful&sunny country. Hasta la vista, Spain&Floridita!

Hostel is value for money. Room is a clean and modern. But you must to know. Chcek-in is a different Hotel 5 min walk this could confusing when you have transfer. "Solarium" roof area doesn't look as on the picture no sunbeds.

The guy at the front desk literally took 40 mins with me but then couldn't even check me in after all said and done. Gave me wrong internet password twice. Hostel room was dirty but it was moreso the ppl than the place. Location was great if you are planning on magaluf party scene. Good beaches nearby

Hotel room was tiny, no room to move, bed sheets were all stained. We couldn't stay there and had to go and find another hotel. We knew it was a Hostel but it looks ok on website so thought we'd give it a try but never again!!!!

Okay for the price!!!!

The hostel Floridita is well located. The reception is 5 min walk away. Doesn’t sound like much but with luggage it can be hard work. The main hotel Florida has excellent facilities that you can use. Food is great and well priced.It’s not included. Hostel doesn’t have AC but for the price it’s probably fair. Sea view from hostel is great. Two guys in our room were noisy and not considerate. All in all, it was okay. I will probably pay more to stay in a better place.

Check in as has been said is stupid. You check in at a hotel to be told w a lk down the street take the second left and the hostel is there. Also a 10€ deposit to use the locker, which also contains linens and pillow. Breakfast was worth the extra couple euros. Biggest complaint was the people above me, 2 of the 3 nights one of the guys was terribly drunk and fought with a roommate, including threatening to kill him.

Where to start the bed/pillow is extremely bad! There are no staff on site so the place is out of control random people banging on our door at 5am and the hall ways extremely loud 5am. Didn’t mind coming back from the clubs but at 5am is a joke. Never again thanks

Please clean me...

I stayed here last year and it has gotten much worse than the previous year. As you can see in thebpics the hostel is in dire need of cleaning and updating. The location is good easy to get to Magalufs party area but far enough away you dont hear it. It had a fabulous view from thw top floor where I stayed overlooking the bay and was able to watch the planea coming in and departing. But the cleanliness was terrible. Looked like someone spilled bleach on the carpet, the fan hadn't been cleaned in months and the railings had been painted in years. If they could fix this up and pay attention to little brother instead of only investing in the primary location of the hotel, I would go again, however until I see and hear different I will stay away.

There was just 1 member of staff that was rude to me, and when I told her of my problems, she accused me of just wanting a discount and ignored the problems I had. She said she knew that I would do this as soon as I came! The fact is I stay in about 40-50 hotel rooms a year and this was the first complaint I had where I was looking for a discount for the problems caused. This was a very unusual experience and put a bad light on what otherwise would have been a very pleasant stay.

Don't be fooled by the cover photo with the sun loungers. Floridita is a daughter hostel of the Florida hotel. The Floridita hostel itself has only a room, shower, toilet, TV, shower gel, liquid hand soap. There is no air conditioning, kettle, glass of water for brushing teeth in the room. There is no pool, bar. The information on the page is not true. Floridita hostel only offers accommodation and Wi-Fi. You have to walk 5 minutes to the Florida hotel for breakfast. Check-in and check-out are at the Florida hotel. The night transfer dropped me off at another hotel, which caused a slight panic before I started wondering where and how to find my Florida hostel at 2 am. It's good that I had printed out the information and the phone number. I called the main Florida hotel, the employee was kind enough to come to meet me and help me get to the Florida reception. After checking in, I went to the hostel at night. I don't know if ants are a normal occurrence in hotels in Spain. At first I was a little shocked. Later I got used to it. Maybe the Florida hotel has all the extras mentioned on the page. There were a few more minuses, but they were resolved after reporting them. Check-out is 11:00. Since my flight was late in the evening, I was allowed to spend the day by the pool at the Florida hotel. I can say thank you for that.

Unforgettable holiday, for all the wrong reasons..

Lets begin with first impression of the room, hair pretty much everywhere including the bedding and what looked like pubic hair as well, found pieces of broken glass under the bed as well as in the bathroom, luckily spotted it before anything bad happened, we had ants coming into our room, after reporting all this to the hotel we were lucky enough to be given a bug spray... and after few days our room got flooded by someone taking a shower room above. There is no security other than locked doors and a few cameras outside which didnt help in recording who broke into our room on the bottom floor and had enough time to go through all our belongings and find everything they needed including travel documents needed to go back, the hotel manager didnt want to speak to us, when confronted in the reception he said "its not my problem" and so did not bother to help us or guide us in any way whatsoever, even though this happened at his facility he did not feel any resposnibility for what happened, did not even let us watch the cctv recordings. Moreover, after visiting the local police one of the officers after given information where we were staying said over the years he had many visits to that place and did not recommend it at all. For the price we paid I would expect something more than two single beds pushed together, no air con, and a loud water pump just outside our windows. Lesson learned, invest a little more and go for a hotel.

Super Hostel für den Preis

Insgesamt für den Preis ist das Hostel super, ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Meerblick, es war sauber, jeden Tag wurde es gereinigt, das Bett war bequem, keine Klimaanlage, das ist zwar doof, wenn es richtig heiß ist, aber im September geht es super ohne und ich kann die eigentlich sowieso nicht ab. Fön, Handtücher alles war vorhanden, sogar ein großer Kühlschrank das war Mega, die Dachterrasse des Hostels bietet einen super Ausblick, hier könnte man mehr daraus machen, aber ich saß da tatsächlich gerne Abends mit einem Gläschen Wein. Das Hotel Florida ist in 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, hier kann man frühstücken für 14€ es gibt wirklich alles von pancakes, Obst, Wurst, Omlett, Spiegelei, Rührei, Würstchen Müsli, Joghurts usw…für den Preis MEGA das Hotel bietet einen super schönen Ausblick, man kann den Pool mit benutzen und alle Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr freundlich also ich würde es wieder buchen vor allem weil das Hostel ruhig gelegen ist in einer Wohngebietstraße, die Partymeile erreicht man aber zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten sowie Pubs, Supermarkt, Restaurants und beide Strände. Von daher kann ich es absolut empfehlen.
