「The place is in a beautiful spot but totally run down. The staff does not care about the guests and will do nothing to help. No coffee until like 7:45 if you’re lucky. No complimentary coffee as advertised. Really disappointed all around. Place is so old and smelly. If you like nursing homes than you might enjoy staying. Sorry but true. 「The place needs some renovations. The floor in our room needs maintenance. The bathtub looks a bit run down. The bathroom door needed to be cleaned, the rest of the room looked clean. We did not eat breakfast there since there was no warm breakfast left by 8:50 AM but there is a great dinner 2 minutes away. I appreciated that there were enough big towels. The staff was friendly.」

「Great downtown Honesdale, PA location. At check in I was told to park in the Wayne Memorial Hospital lot which is shared with the Hotel. Check in was pleasant/easy. Stairs to 2nd floor room. At end of day rush hour a bit noisy from the busy street/intersection. Room could use a thorough cleaning and some updates. Older mattress well past its' useful life. Sink water had mislabelled Hot/Cold faucets. Water had an odor? A/C worked OK but curtain blocked the flow if closed. Shower head...

「The property is recently renovated and well appointed. The host was very helpful and made our stay quite easy and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice homemade cake upon arrival and enjoyed an amazing breakfast before departing. The B&B is very convenient for travelers who will be visiting the Bethel Arts Center. It was our first trip to Bethel for a concert. We plan to do it again.」

「The front hotel staff was completely rude and told us we had to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND the hotel to get to the casino when there was a hallway connecting the 2. My mom had to walk down a hill because he was rude and didn’t even tell us where to go or what direction our room was. I won’t be going back.」
