"Our room was 4402 and we were woken on Sunday morning to loud sounds every 5 minutes from 8.00 AM to 10 AM that sounded like a loud generator or some type of construction outside only to realize it was the incredibly LOUD air conditioning unit inside our room which also didn't even cool to the room which was warm all night long even on a very cool day/night. I wore headphones to block the noise out to try to get some more sleep but it was intolerable. I should have driven home to orange county after the concert we attended and saved the money for a terrible nights sleep. will not return. "

"The room was nice although the door was super heavy and slammed a few times pushing us out of the way forcefully. Also need a microwave in the room. The air conditioner worked almost too well. After turning it on it would stay on for quite a while making it cold in the room. Very hard to regulate it. The only other thing that we noticed was it needs a paint job inside, halls and rooms. Needs color. "

"When booking this overnight stay I knew that staying in an old ship may have pros and cons. First the good: Exceptional staff. Front desk, housekeeping, tour guides, restaurant staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved seeing original fixtures and the hotel’s antiques. I felt like we had stepped back in time. Food at the Promenade cafe was delicious and we saw dolphins playing in the harbor while we ate. Our Graveyard Tour was educational and tour guides Cayden and Chris were the best. I also love how you’re able to explore parts of the ship 24/7 if you’re staying there . Our room was overall clean. The tub enamel was peeling though and could probably should be replaced. Some things that would make me consider not staying over again: there were a couple special events going on and it was Saturday night while we were there. Our room must have been right below an event or lounge because loud music with a DJ was happening until midnight and maybe beyond but we went on our tour so not sure when music actually ended. But it would have bothered us if we wanted to sleep earlier. There was also a lot of what sounded like chairs or tables being moved above us about 7AM. Room climate varies because of the age of the ship so be prepared for either hot or cold. I was feeezing. Luckily there was a blanket in the closet. Also strong smell of marijuana in the halls and somehow a moth landed on our bed at 3AM. But if you want history I would still say stay over for experience. "

"No hot tub but no free parking lot, which doesn’t mention description definitely. The quality of staff is not consistent. Which means some staff are good and others are not so satisfying. Overall the room is quiet and convenient to the beach. I like it. "

"I had a huge suite to myself, with an almost absurdly large patio. It's a cocktail party size patio. Bed was good, shower was good. The room was big but utterly charmless and lit like a Home Depot. The kind of light that extinguishes color. For a bonus they have several motion-activated lights that come on even when there's no motion, and go off when you really wish they wouldn't. "
