If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). "Ft Young is always my go to when visiting the island. That being said if you are in the older part of the hotel, getting your luggage around is a challenge as the elevator does not get you to all areas, HOWEVER there is always friendly staff to lend a hand. I was disappointed not to get a room in the new, deluxe part of the hotel. Not sure how I go about getting one. Overall I am pleased with my stay. I would say that service has improved over the years. Helpful, friendly staff"

"Fantastic location (but be mindful it can be noisy being in the city centre). Very good pressure in the shower. Many plugs across the room (practical for all our little electronics). Free internet available although unreliable. The room wasn't dirty nor very clean. Limited amenities (towels, soaps, iron & ironbaord). No kettle. Hotel in need of a good freshen up. Definitely not worth 90€/night."
