Disappointed with the Room – Misleading Information
I’m giving this review 3 stars because while the service from the staff was generally good, my overall experience was disappointing due to the room situation. I paid extra to book a Deluxe Room, but was given what was clearly a Junior Suite – which is a lower-tier room according to the hotel’s own website.
When I raised this with the front desk, I was told I had been given the Deluxe Room, despite clear differences between what I booked and what I received. At that point, I felt either I was being lied to directly or the website is highly misleading with incorrect photos and room descriptions. Either way, it’s unacceptable for a property to advertise one thing and deliver another.
If you’re considering upgrading your room, I would recommend double-checking everything before you arrive and taking screenshots of your booking details and the room photos. It’s unfortunate, because the service otherwise was pleasant, but this left a sour taste in what could have been a great stay.
