"I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hostel in Cairo! The building is a fully renovated 120-year-old home, and it’s absolutely stunning, full of charm and character. We stayed in a private room with a king-size bed and were wowed by the elegant chandelier that gave the space a special touch.
The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is great too — close to Tahrir Square, which made it easy to explore the...
"dans la chambre plusieurs mobilier était cassé, nous n’avions qu’un seul linge, la douche coulait et donc la salle de bain était trempée, rue très bruyantes, porte fenêtre cassée donc impossible de la fermer
le soir le personnel est venu toquer à notre porte 2 fois à 22:30 pour des raisons étranges … en tant que femmes nous ne nous sommes pas senties en sécurité "
"The staff was great but my room could use some renovations and a dresser. I had a private room and bathroom. If you are planning to live out of a backpack then the lack of storage space will be fine. I had to live out of my suitcase because I had no where to store my things."
"The Hotel is situated in a newly renovated apartment, so extremely clean with new beds, bedding and spotless bathroom with a great shower. The fabulous breakfast was served in bed
The only problem is that there’s no proper window, as it’s closed shut"
"This I hostel is amazing for a budget stay: location is great (walking distance from tahrir square, metro is in the heart of Cairo. There are multiple supermarkets and stores nearby, the view is nice, speciay from the balcony of the communal room. The staff are really friendly, room was clean and tidy.
Breakfast at the hostel was oriental (fool, falafel, salad, scrambled eggs and jam), very filling.
One of the staff (his nickname is Manga) was very nice even after checking out he offered to...

"My group was very nicely welcomed by the Hotel staff. The room service, restaurant, and club waiters are kind and professional. The spa was also good. It is a short distance from the Great Pyramids, and the concierge assisted us in going there safely. All the people we interacted with in the Hotel were kind and served us promptly. I want to mention: Mahmoud, Amal, and Ragab at the restaurant for their outstanding service. The cost was worth booking rooms facing the Pyramids. Very good experience in general at Mena House Hotel in Giza."
"The entire staff goes above and beyond. Special shout out to Maria in the pink jacket! House keeping was great. Restaurants were nice. Pool attendants did a great job. This property was under some mild construction but you will easily forgive that for the rich palace history and amazing detail. Very happy with our stay."
"Excellent staff throughout all aspects of our stay, including check-in and checkout procedures. Friendly, efficient, courteous and welcoming. We would highly recommend this
hotel to anyone preferring to stay at,or near to an airport hotel for convenience. We would Definately stay here again."
"As always, this stay was such a treat. The property is lovely, expansive, and very central, with a large variety of dining options. I was in town for two nights before traveling to their Sharm property for a weeklong stay.
The real highlight of the stay is, unsurprisingly, the amazing staff. Our drop off and in-room check-in were well-coreographed and well-executed. The thoughtful touches from housekeeping are always delightful too (e.g., bookmarks in my books, a Four Seasons-branded cloth for my glasses, etc.). The concierge was magnificent and endlessly helpful. We mentioned in passing that my traveling companion had some stomach issues (the kind you dread getting abroad), and the concierge had the pharmacy deliver medicine for my friend, and later called the room to offer complimentary chicken soup and chamomile tea. The next night, we dined at Byblos, and the staff there were standouts too. My companion was still dealing with stomach issues and couldn't finish his dinner, so the manager took the plate off our check and gave my friend a complimentary pot of chamomile tea (all without being asked). Everyone knew or quickly memorized our names and every member of the staff was all smiles at all times. It was the same standard of excellence all across the board.
Overall another strong showing by the Four Seasons (most recently I spent a week at their property in Florence, if that's helpful context for my standard of comparison here). Thank you to the Nile Plaza team."
"I wanna say by far the best place I have stayed at, the staff is really helpful and welcoming, I wanna highlight that the lady at the front desk in the morning, she's very helpful and always treat you with kindness, also Kamal he's very helpful and always kind, always trying to help, he's a great guy. The guide that we had the first day I think he's name is Mohamed he was great, showed us a lot of places in the small time that we had since I had booked it last minute, but he was great, also I forgot his name but the second guide that we had when we booked a horse carriage ride, he was amazing, he would take us the really nice areas and when we decided to buy stuff he did not let the venders take advantage of us, he would have them lower the prices and even give us a gift at the end he even invited
us to go eat in his house with his family, he was truly a great guide, the hotel has all the packages that you can buy in the front desk and the staff is very helpful!!! Great I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely revisit and stay in the place because the staff is amazing and they got great views from the rooftop!!!"
