Nice cosy bungalow

Nice clean bungalow, well equipped. Excellent service, couldn’t ask for more. Good location, close to beach and a short walk from the entrance to the national park.

Super cute cabin. Close to beach and little town with restaurants. Nice grounds. Friendly staff that was very responsive. Rooms cleaned daily. Seemed very safe and was very quiet. Stayed for 5 nights.

Great quiet location

Awesome location in a quiet setting on the edge of Cahuita. 5 minutes to town and 10 to parque. It was a nice family style place with a kitchen. Friendly greeting and nice to work. A little rustic and no AC were the only drawbacks but reasonably priced.

Spacious tico style 2 bedroom house with large patio including 2 hammocks, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The property managers, Enrica and David, were in contact well in advance of check-in, were flexible with our arrival time, and promptly handled every request. The property is aging and could use some maintenance, but I would stay here again in heartbeat. Fantastic value!

Great location! Property surrounded by nature. 5 min. walk to Black Beach (the sand is black,) and 10 min walk to Cahuita downtown, and 15 min. walk to the beautiful National Park (on left side the beach with almond trees, and on right side: lots of trees with monkeys, red flowers, and blue butterflies.) Enrica, the property manager at Cabinas Caribe was very friendly and helpful. Gave us great suggestions of places to eat and visit. We loved the property and the town of Cahuita! Great views at high altitude, during the 4.5-5 hrs bus drive from San José to Cahuita! Our stay from 7/10-7/14/21. It rained every night (beginning of Winter Season). Moderate weather.

This lodging was so cute & comfortable. The staff (Enrica) was amazing. The parking was safe & so easy. The location was ideal for Cahuita. The price & upgrade was more than could be expected.

Peaceful stay amongst wildlife

We had a wonderful 4 days. The grounds are lush and well manicured. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabina with a kitchen. It was lovely to wake in the morning and sit on our beautiful veranda with a cup of coffee and watch nature exist. So many birds, monkeys, and sloth. Enrica and David were gracious and always available to assist. Everything is walkable yet it feels like you are remote. We highly recommend this peaceful place loaded with beautiful fauna and wildlife.

My apt. @ Cabinas Caribe Luna was so adorable! There were 2 rooms with 3 beds, a ceiling fan in each room, a decent sized bathroom and shower, kitchen w/ a cute fridge, stove, and dishes, and a cute outdoor space with a hammock! Great location - just a 3 or 4 minute walk to town and a 5 or 6 minute walk to Cahuita Park and beach. Can't wait to visit CR again and stay here!

Nice managers, basic room

The managers are so nice and help you with everything you need. This is a big plus. The room is very basic and the badroom could be a bit cleaner/newer. However we enjoyed our stay and would go back.
