Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, es war wieder toll, mitten in der Stadt, alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Parkplatz um die Ecke, super für Familien oder getrennt Schlafende, alles vorhanden was man braucht.

The hotel does not look like the picture. It is very old. They publish cleaning is on daily basis. Then we were surprised with the cleaning lady telling us we clean only half of the stay. We objected this and told the hotel owner via whatsapp that this is not acceptable but he got aggressive and told us not to bother him again and only speak with cleaning lady who barely speaks any englisch. On top of that hot water does not last and goes away immediately as heating system is very old. Plus the place is very noisy and you can get easily be woken up by 7 in morning. Customer service from the owner was disrespectful and unprofessional and nothing i have seen before.

The property is what you’d expect for the price nothing flash. Just a place to sleep. However at 1am the ceiling in the bedroom started to leak pretty significantly and it sound like there was a large amount of water somewhere. I contacted the operator via WhatsApp which is the preferred method but heard nothing. The water eventually stopped leaking. But not what you want at 1am. If the room didn’t leak it would be a solid 3.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. The toilet seat didn’t fit properly, and the mattress was quite worn out. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the location is definitely a big plus. For a short trip, the room is absolutely sufficient and offers everything you need.

Kamer werdt iedere dag uitstekend verschoond en verzorgd van nieuwe handdoeken en beddengoed. Super vriendelijk en de locatie kon niet beter. Bij proberen zeker binnen 3 à 5 jaar terug te komen. Eerste paar jaar even langs familie in andere landen. En wanneer we ons zelf verwennen, dan komen wij zeker terug.

The AC was not working the first night we got there, and it was 30 degrees Celsius in the room the entire night. I called someone from the hotel and they gave me exact instructions as to how to fix it, I even sent them pictures of the remote and they confirmed it should be working, but it never did for the night. After asking for a refund for the night, they came the next day maybe 10 minutes after we had left (and the ac was not working) and magically the AC was working again so they said. He then continued to text me insinuating I was lying and that I was doing something wrong when all I was saying was thanks. There was no room service the first day even though we left the room before 11:30 am like they said. We never got clean towels. And the power was out for around 30 minutes one night (this was mid summer when it was around 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside), I wrote to the man and he read my message and never answered. Service was god awful but the room was nice and unique and location was great.

Pleasant but mixed

A mixed review but overall a pleasant stay. We booked the deluxe bedroom but upon arrival it was not what we were expecting. There was no window to the outside (which made the room feel claustrophobic) and the blinds to the ceiling window was broken (meaning the room was flooded with light at sunrise making it difficult to sleep). The owner was very accommodating and moved us to the main suite, which was much nicer and what we would expect for the cost. There was, however, room for improvements - the air conditioning unit was loud and ineffective (meaning the room never really cooled down and sleep was difficult) and there was a lack of crockery (just paper/plastic cups) but this didn’t affect the overall experience. The owner was very helpful providing lots of information and recommendations and the cleaning lady was lovely. The location was really handy for getting around the city and to the central station. I would only recommend staying here if you’re booking the suite. Also you should note that this is more of a room stay than a hotel as there were no facilities apart from what was in the room. All contact with the owners was via WhatsApp.

Starting with the positives this was a great location if you are visiting the old part of Cagliari. Minutes to walk until you reach numerous places to eat, the train station and buses. Plenty of trips start at the marina or from the main square. The room was basic but clean, and offered daily cleaning if needed. The promised air conditioning and wifi worked well. The first night there were 2 power cuts, but they were sorted out quickly. The fridge in the room is tiny and did not work at all, so was not suitable to keep milk fresh, it also had a funny smell. There was a small working kettle and coffee machine, plus a few packets of sugar and a few tea bags, these were not checked and restocked, luckily we had taken our own. There were no cups for making hot drinks, I tried to use the disposable plastic ones provided but when you put boiling water on them they started to almost crumple at the bottom, does not seem safe. Do feel the photos show something that looks more luxurious than it is, but for the price I can see why. Overall a nice place for a cheap stay.

sehr schöne, geräumige, ruhige und moderne Unterkunft mitten in Cagliari. Alles ist von hier aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Familienzimmer ist sehr groß und bietet 2 getrennte Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten. Die Buchung, der Check in und die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber waren einfach und reibungslos. Für einen Städtetrip absolut zu empfehlen!

I was very exited to stay at this property, however was not able to relax on my holiday due to heavy digging outside my room from 07:00-19:00 every day of my stay. I was disappointed that I was not informed by the property about this before my stay, or updated as to how long this would have lasted. I was also not offered any compensation for the significant disruption to my stay.
