「Quirky old accommodation lovely staff fab evening food, ok continental breakfast...great vibe in the pub lovely and friendly people. Room was comfy, did need some attention to cleanliness, but saying that the bed was spotless and very comfy...bathroom small but well equipped.」

「Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. Parking can be a problem but usually can park in town square (which you need to pay for, either in cash/card or by downloading the local app). Place fairly clean, tables for breakfast...

「The hotel is very tired, but the owners are trying to tidy it up and decorate. The facilities in the bedroom were poor, nowhere to hang clothes, curtains don't close tv didn't work. Having said that, it is only rated a 2 star and I will certainly stay again both for the quirkiness and the lovely staff.」

「Beautiful old building dated 1642 but tastefully restored inside. Lovely rooms, delicious food. Richard is a great host. Will definitely return when we come back to the area.」

「Me, my partner and our 2 dogs spent an amazing weekend there ❤️ The place is magical. We went for long walks around the fields, ate amazing food in the restaurant at the property, swam in a swimming pool, and enjoyed the area around. Definitely recommend to visit! The staff are nice and professional. The gardener even has time to introduce me to the plant I am interested in. This shows how a professional team they are. 」
