「It’s a really cute place to stay. Beautiful views and garden with a lovely canal side walk nearby. Nicely designed inside and Steve, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer.」

On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. 「Biggest positive was communication - helped us out massively with confusion over booking. Quick communication much appreciated. Regarding the property - It was a base for a night. Everything was on the budget side of things. Clean beds and towels. It just needed a thorough spring clean. Random cutlery pots and pans were all mish mash and needed cleaning before use. But was passable - for one night. No complaints. 」

「We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. There is a large fenced back yard where kids could play.」
