"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. All requests of staff even when it came to children's food requests (difficult eaters) were fulfilled. No requests were too big. The afternoon tea was lovely and definitely recommended. Spa area in terms of pool/jacuzzi were okay. To note unless you have a treatment booked you do not get given robes. So if you use the pool/jacuzzi you may want to take your own robes with you. This is something that could be improved for user experience as we didn't know that and it was a little embarrassing walking through the restaurant and past many rooms to get to the next floor up where our rooms were. Luckily we were a very large group so safety in numbers and all and we could laugh it off."
