Oct 31, 2019The area is ok, plenty of shopping to be found. The town itself seems to be expanding, but it isn't the safest or most friendly. That really has no bearing on this hotel though. Burlington is not a destination city, like Seattle.

Oct 27, 2019Burlington is not really a destination in itself but a gateway town to the San Juan's and the North Cascades so don't expect much in the way of fine dining in town though there are some good options in Mt. Vernon and LaConner as well as up on Chuckan
