「The property is a gem and great choice for our stay in the Speyside area. Parking is available right across the street, and the hotel is within 10-15 mins drive from a number of distilleries and the Speyside cooperage. 「Very highly recommended. The hotel has had a spruce up since I was last here and she's looking lovely. Very comfy beds and powerful shower with nice products. Great spa. Food and cocktails both delicious. Everyone super friendly and helpful. With local people coming in to use the pool or have a drink at the bar, it feels like part of the town as well rather than just a tourist enclave. We will be back. 」

「I have been travelling for 2 weeks and this is, by far, the best accommodations i have had. The room was very clean, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were awesome. The restaurant was good value. Breakfast was the best! Great server and excellent food to start your day. The guy at reception was friendly, clear on explaining the hotel amenities and helpful. Just an excellent experience there all around.」

「I was visiting Forres for a work event and needed a hotel nearby. The Carlton was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming; check in was a breeze. The room was super clean and had all the amenities you needed. The bed was excellent and very comfy. Would thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel which is great value for money.」

「The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland! 」
