un beau lieu de séjour

un bel endroit, très bien entretenu avec une grande piscine. le gîte est très bien. l'accueil en français est très amical. le seul point négatif est la route proche du gîte que l'on n'entend pas depuis le gîte mais depuis la piscine un peu quand même. mais le paysage et le confort des installations font oublier ce petit désagrément !

Do not trust the mixed reviews.

I am more upset at expedia than at the place itself. The reason is that this is not a hotel, nor a resort, nor a 5 star vacation home as described. It is the ground floor of a two story house, where the owner lives above. It was not clean, full of live and dead insects and spiders, including the pool. It may be normal maybe in a private house in the Tuscany countryside, but not ok for an expedia rated vacation place. There is no air conditioning and notwithstanding what the owner will say in the summer it is steaming hot. There is no staff, but the owner who meets you when agreed gives you keys. He is a very nice person and accommodating, so no complaints on him, but unfortunately the location is not adequate. We paid 2 nights but we left the morning of the first day regardless, after a turbukent night, losing the second night.
