Very disappointing stay. Booked the executive Span suite for Fridayto Monday. Which had a spa and separate sitting and bedroom. On day of arrival , I was contacted to informed that the spa was broken and unlikely to be fixed over the weekend. I was advised that there was a room with a spa upstairs which had 2 bed and that it was more expensive than the one i booked so I accepted this room . Upon arrival in the room, I was shocked to see that it was way smaller room, 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. With a small table with 2 chair in the bedroom. When I contacted reception to complain, I was again informed that the room that I was offered was more expensive that the original one that I booked. The room was run down, the windows curtain was held up by sticky tape, ants everywhere in the bathroom and bedroom table. The windows in the bathroom was all broken. When I checked on Expedia, I found that the room I was given was in fact a basic twin room. Next day I received a text stating that my original room will be ready after lunch on Sunday. How did the spa get fixed over the weekend? Was the room given to someone else even though I paid for the room and instead got a basic room .
