Tired place with good, relaxed atmosphere

This must have been a great hotel when it was new, decades ago. The staff are great. The rooms are tired, but clean. The overall atmosphere is good, and the pool area is nice. The breakfast was very mediocre (stale pastries, coagulated milk for coffee), but lunch was fine. The outdoor area in the restaurant was dirty and there were a lot of flies pestering clients. It’s a good location close to the airport.

So stayed here while at a conference and the check in was ok, room ok and food (when you finally got it, 45 mins - 1 hour later) also ok. The service was out of the world appalling! On 3 different occasions I asked for a cup, glass and cutlery and was told to go pick it up myself in the bar! There were always 4-5 staff just standing.

Awesome staff. Clearly work hard to make sure guests are happy. Maintenance is important - staff always working to improve things. Breakfast is great, as well as everything we ordered from the menu.

Nothing worked here at this seriously delapidared hotel - shower leaked and flooded the entire bathroom, phone didn’t work, room was full of mosquitoes, walls looked dirty

This property was truly a disappointment to me. They rate themselves as a five star but I believe that are not any where close to that. The only real positive to this property is the view of the lake. The quality of the food on the restaurant was extremely bad. It was a Buffett and The food was also cold. Staff do not speak English so it’s a great challenge to communicate. Restaurant orders take almost 30 to 45 minutes to get a soda and a slice of cake. The restaurant staff never come to you. You would have to go to them and no smiles and very unfriendly. I asked for an iron and they said that they do not provide one instead they will do your intoning and it cost 16$ for a pair of jeans and 3 Tshirts. The toiletries in the bathroom is shocking. Even a little bar of soap is so cheap that it is as hard a a rock and produces no lather at all. This was a true disappointment to having a pleasant stay.
