「Staff were very nice. Breakfast was good. Pool amenities were quite dated and in parts dirty. There was dirt in the whirlpool for example. The sauna was not warm and looked slightly unclean. There was mould in the corner of the bathroom of the hotel room and the shower was essentially cold. I would not return based on this experience」

「I stayed at Preston House last week. Hotels.com didn't send me the details on email as was outlined in the booking. I contacted the owner who was extremely helpful and gave me an upgrade and sent on all the details straight away. The house itself is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable and a really lovely place to stay. The food was absolutely delicious and servings were plentiful (breakfast and dinner). Regarding the rooms, the decor and facilities were simple and straightforward, which was fine, and the shower had great pressure and the bed was comfortable with several soft but supportive pillows.
