I didn't know much about Buffalo or its charming neighborhoods, but I am so glad I stayed at InnBuffalo. Proprietor Joe and hostess Molly were so welcoming and spent time with the guests during the morning breakfast service. I booked the smallest room in the Inn, but it was perfect for a single or a couple. The bed quality and linens were superb, and I slept quite well both nights. Around the corner is the Lexington Co-op for outstanding fruits of the season and snacks, which could be store in the in-room refrigerator. The Inn provided filtered water and plenty of Keurig capsules for morning coffee. Breakfast scones were delish, the coffee strong, and juices fresh. Best of all, the front porch is huge and welcoming. Both evenings I sat outside and made new friends while we sipped wine and shared stories. Walking the Elmwood neighborhood is a treat: Talking Leaves Bookstore next to a coffee shop, across from the Bidwell median where a Farmer's market occurs every Saturday morning. In the other direction, find Iron Tail Tavern, an elegant bar and restaurant service delicious tapas-style small plates and entrees. I had the stuffed peppers appetizer, and it was enough for my dinner meal. Would love to come back and stay during the holidays.
