I stayed here for 2 nights with my children aged 4 and 18 in 2 rooms. While there were many great aspects, unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience during check out. We were accused of "breaking a kettle" in one of the rooms. In fact, on arrival there was a crack and a small piece of the kettle lid missing, presumably caused by a previous guest. It was still working despite this so we had no need to report it to reception. We had to cancel our taxi and I was pressured into paying for a replacement. The man at reception was rude and intimidating lin contrast to the very polite and helpful man who was present at check in). As we were in a rush to rebook another airport taxi I had no option but to pay, rather than miss our flight. He did not provide an itemised receipt and had to be asked 3 times to give me my change from the tourist tax as well. He was sniggering with his colleagues and speaking with them about us in Spanish, as we could understand a few words. My 4 year old was very upset by this. I have been in contact with my credit card company who are kindly arranging a charge-back, so at least I will get a refund for the kettle. On the plus side, the rooms were large and clean and the location was convenient. The pool was nice although the hot tub and sauna were not working. The dreadful experience at check out has unfortunately marred our short trip to Buenos Aires and has put me off from returning again.

It is central to many “must see” locations. We walked all over to Recoleta Cemetery, water front, Plaza de Mayo, Retiro, San Telmo, Teatro Colon, museum of Arts, local steak and coffee restaurants etc. Easy walks everywhere. Sunday market in front of hotel was fun to explore local artisans.

Good clean property in the old city. You can eadily walk to lots of the sites. Front dedk staff were outstanding snd they provided exchange US$ at very good rate. The foorman needd to smile not really warm guy. I do recommend this as a good hotel for the nohice trraveller. Safe place central location forget the hop on hop off it is hopeledd.

Mid-range hotel with good location

It felt more like a 3* hotel than a 4*. Service from reception desk was good. Rooms were clean but old. The pool is only open for a small amount of time and you have to pay extra for it. No onsite bar or restaurant and the breakfast is ok. The location is amazing though.

The rooms were clean and the staff was great. Our room faced the road and it was very noisy. The WIFI was very slow and did not alway work. We had to stand next to the window to get reception

The good: location, bed comfortable, Wi-Fi good, large room size, a/c works well. The bad: only 1 elevator working, restaurant service extremely limited, no ice available, shower overflows and standing water in toilet area, tv’s don’t work, front desk staff unconcerned with discrepancy with amenities offered and what is actually available to guest.

Unique was the central location and the service some of the staff provided. I absolutely did not like the hours I had to wait for a room, because I had timely informed about my arrival. And I had to constantly ask for the room whether or not ready.

Service from staff not very up to 4 start hotel. There was a kettle in the room but the guest had to pay for 4 tea bags a similar amount that was charged for the buffet breakfast. There was no replenishing of soap in the bathroom. So one small piece of soap should last 4 days. The room key card was demagnitized several times. At night not very pleasant to stay outside the hotel waiting to get in because there was no porter and the card did not work properly. The breakfast was not included so we had to pay extra for that. For the price and the hotel category breakfast should have been included. So NOT RECOMMENDED.

Starting with a deposit of $100 dollars even though I called to inquire if need any deposit and they told me no. Then, I had the VIP reservation and the pool was not included. They charged me additional money per each person to use the pool, just for a couple of hours, and we were 4 people. Lastly, they charged me a tax to leave the property that I was not counting with, because my understanding was that they charged me everything at the front with my reservation. Not including the pool was the most bothering thing since my kids wanted to use it and I had to pay a lot of extra money for its use. The area of the hotel is very unsafe, someone robbed my mom a block away from the hotel, a person grabbed my mother gold chain from her neck and rubbed away with it. No one did anything to stop it and was no police around it at all.

Valeu pela banheira e chuveiro. Água aquece bem.

Quarto grande, banheira grande no quarto do 605, traveseiro muito alto. Academia e piscina não estavam funcionando e não foi avisado antecipadamente quando do reserva. Café da manhã bem sortido.
