A dump!

The only positive about this hostel is that the staff were pleasant and the email communicaiton was clear. Other than that, this place is a dump in need of major upgrade. The common area couches and seats were dingy, sagging and really tired. The bathroom and toilets left a lot to be desired. When I booked this "hotel", I was informed that I had one twin bunk bed. It turns out I was sharing one of 8 bunk beds in the room. The room was full of unwashed body odor. The beds were uncomfortable and rickety. Fortunately, I had booked this place just to store my luggage for the day before I took a flight out that evening. I used the room for a couple of hours rest before my flight.

It was okay, but the bedsheets was dirty at arrival. The plans that were at det weekplanner wasn´t followed, and when we asked about it the staff didn´t know. The area was okay, short way to the metro. The bar upstairs was empty, but maybe it´s better when there´s a lot of tourists.

A localização é excelente, perto dos principais pontos turísticos do centro da cidade. O bairro de San Telmo é ótima gostei bastante. O hostel não decepcionou, limpeza ok no quarto que fiquei, as camas ok, nada luxuoso, mas tudo agradável, ão menos as coisas eram limpas. Eu hospedaria novamente.

Short stay in Buenos Aires

A friend and I stayed at the Art Factory in San Telmo for 3 nights as part of a trip around south America and I can thoroughly recommend it. It is a pleasant hostel around 20mins walk from some of the key tourist spots in Buenos Aires through perfectly safe areas. There is an indoor bar area that is open in the evenings and a nice rooftop terrace too. You're not allowed to bring your own drinks in, but the prices in the bar aren't too bad, though we would have liked them to open a bit earlier, I don't think the bar opens until 5.30pm. The reception staff are helpful and can book taxis (agreed rates for things like airport transfers) and suggest places to visit around Buenos Aires. Entry to the building can be a little tricky, someone at reception has to buzz you in and then you'll have to carry luggage up some stairs with a slightly awkward door. Not a huge issue, but a little inconvenient. My friend and I shared a private twin room with a shared bathroom immediately across the corridor. The bedroom was fine, plenty of space and quiet at night and even when our nearest bathroom was occupied there are several more fairly nearby. If/when I ever come back to Buenos Aires I would happily stay here again.

O atendimento foi perfeito, todos os funcionários muito atenciosos, porém havia muito barulho no local principalmente a noite e madrugada, o ralo do banheiro exalava um odor de esgoto, quarto sem janela e ventilação natural.

Déçus

Nous avions réservé une chambre double pour 4 nuits. À notre arrivée, notre réservation n’avait pas été prise en compte et nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un dortoir de 8 personnes pour les 4 jours, sans excuse ni remise commerciale de la part du personnel. Pour accéder au dortoir dans lequel nous étions : nécessité de passer par une zone à l’extérieure (ce n’est pas le cas pour les autres chambres), il faisait donc très froid (pas de chauffage). De plus, dortoir à côté du bar donc très bruyant. Pas d’eau chaude à notre étage mais nous avons découvert après une douche glacée que l’étage en dessous en avait. Au total : déçu de cette expérience, les autres dortoirs ou chambres sont peut être mieux mais je vous déconseille vivement le dortoir 4

Les chambres sont très variables on a du en faire 3 avant de trouver une bien (pas de fenêtre, lits diff,bruyante,...) Les sdb commune sont plus des douches usines (pas d’espace, collés,...) Sinon le personnel est sympathique et l’esprit Est sympa, hôtel très bien situé en revanche
