The property is well located and offers many in-house activities. Our personal highlight was the pool area which guests can use 24h. The staff is super friendly and gives you personal recommendation to explore this beautiful area of Iceland. Breakfast was delicious, room spacy and all in all we had a perfect stay. Go for it!

This was a very nice hotel with it's own hot spring (although not that hot). The man at the front desk was extremely friendly and the rooms were modern/updated. The views were amazing all around it. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. We don't have anything negative to say about it at all. We'd absolutely stay again.

We picked Dalahotel as a jumping off point to explore some of the West Fjords region. It was formerly a boarding school, so don’t expect a typical hotel building. The staff was incredible and friendly. The included breakfast hit the spot and our dinner at the hotel was very good. The hot tub felt amazing. We didn’t try the natural thermal bath on the property as the temp was a bit low during our stay. The temp can fluctuate. We also had two nights of fantastic northern lights. We would stay there again, it’s an interesting place and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, but small. That didn’t bother us.

Very nice place. The use of the swimming pool and hot tubs was a real bonus and nice rest and games rooms available. our only issues were the small shower with a shower curtain that wouldn’t leave you alone when having a shower! Others had a bigger bathroom area. Breakfast was good and plenty full but the evening meals were a let down to be honest, the same choice every evening and nothing interesting to choose.

A good way stop on our way to the Westfjords. Older property with rambling halls going to the pool and breakfast. Hot tub was not ‘hot’ so we didn’t use it. Has a natural hot spring above the property but was not warm enough and had a lot of algae in it.
