"The building was an old school they bought and turned into a hotel. Nicely Done! The lounge/bar is the old auditorium. Big room with plenty of seating and a beautiful old chess board and chairs combo. There is a restuarant serving dinner and drinks. The food was quite good! Waitresses Daria & Daniella were very kind and friendly. Morning breakfast buffet was also good. Nice selection. Met the owners Asgeir & his wife after dinner one evening, very pleasant couple, good conversations. The rooms were good, work desk & chair, seating area. My bed wasn't the most comfortable, for me, very soft mattress but pillows were good. Shower very good. No refrigerator in the room but they did offer to store my food in the kitchen fridge. It was cold enough outside to hang food out the window or leave in the car. 2 Large Outdoor Hot Tubs. Stayed here for 2 nights and got to see the area. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality ROD N.Y."

"We booked 2 rooms by mistake, that's on me. I did not check both of them, but the one we did use was very underwhelming. The house itself is ok, if a bit sterile. But it hadn't been cleaned properly as the floor was dirty, the shower has soap residues and there was a good amount of dust everywhere. Everything felt cheap, like they bough all of it used and didn't even try to make it look good. It really wasn't a big deal, but with other options available I do not recommend this rental."

"Best place we've stayed in Iceland!!! Love all the thoughtful details and facilities of the cabin, as well as the stunning view and wildlife animals surrounding us there. We were lucky enough to see aurora at night and spot a family of seals sunbathing on the sea rocks in the next morning - thanks to the binos provided in the cabin. Overall the cabin is very well designed, clean and tidy. Space-wise, we didn't feel cramped at all even with 2 big suitcases and all our winter gears. And bonus to the shower that didn't spill water. The outdoor hot tub was spacious for two people and water was hot - the hosts had pretty much everything set up, we just had to remove the hot tub cover and put it back when done. Cooking utensils and cutlery were clean and good as new. They also provided a variety of herbs and even some pasta, rice, tea, chocolate and candies. The information booklet written and printed by the hosts was very helpful - all those little details added up to a perfect experience."
