We could not be happier with our stay at Il Verreno. We arrived late on our first night and they were able to hold our table in the restaurant for dinner. My husband had Coeliac disease and not once did we have to tell the staff, they had a note in file and every single one of them remembered for the whole trip. They made changes to the menu for him, ensuring he had gluten free bread and pasta etc. the service was excellent throughout the hotel, the hotel was clean and the rooms are beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Tuscan area.

An amazing place! Friendly staff, personalized service, fantastic meals cooked by the best chefs in italy, and the perfect place to relax and as a base for excursions in the area. We stayed at Il Verreno for our anniversary at the start of July and it was absolutely stunning! So beautiful and peaceful, the room was lovely (we had a suite) and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We especially enjoyed eating at the Restaurant- the food was amazing! I'd highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful retreat and also to have a car so that you can also visit the neigbouring towns (we took advantage of day trips to Sienna and Florence). Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back again soon!

Tuscan villa dream

Such an amazing hotel. Beautiful location. We had a 2 bed suite as it was a last minute booking and was only option. WOW. Absolute gorgeous. Had own kitchen area. 2 huge bedrooms with en suite's. The pool area was compact but the views! The restaurant was incredibly. The quality and presentation 10/10. Ricardo and his team looked after us both nights we were there and they were excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Go!

There could be better walking paths from park I g lot to your rooms so you can pull your suitcases. The steep hill to parking lot with luggage isn’t great. As well better breakfast options. The dining menu is absolutely fantastic and the scenery is fabulous. Staff go above and beyond regardless of the time of day. 👏👏👏

Hidden Gem in secluded location

Nothing but wonderful things to say. Stunning views, great facilities and fantastic onsite restaurant. Staff went above and beyond for 5 star service. Comfortable rooms, gorgeous linens and great beds. The whole villa has been extensively modernized and renovated. You are out in the country but Siena is 35 minutes away, Florence 1 hr and plenty of things to see. Breakfast was delicious and huge variety. Cannot wait to return. Wifi was a little iffy and inconsistent but with the views and scenery you soon forgot.

Beautiful spot and people

This hotel is a hidden gem with breathtaking views from every window. Our stay included a scrumptious breakfast with cooked to order eggs. Francesca was our hostess. She couldn’t do enough for us. She was so gracious seeing to our every need. The restaurant on the premises was the best we’ve had in a Italy and we have eaten at Michelin star. I’m am sure there is a Michelin star in Cucina Donnaluisa’s future!
