This was a special hotel. Super impressive and a really pleasant stay. It was very quiet and the view was stunning. They upgraded me to a suite which was a nice touch and Michelle was super helpful with a late checkout. It is pretty close to most things and I really recommend it. I also tried the laundry service and was very happy with that.

Unfortunately, this is not a 5‑star hotel experience I’m really disappointed to be spending 7 nights in what I believed would be a 5‑star hotel. We accidentally booked the wrong “Grand Hotel” — it turns out there are two with very similar names — and the difference in quality is shocking. Main issues: • Extremely hard beds, making it difficult to sleep comfortably • A strong sewage smell in our room, completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming 5 stars • Very poor breakfast variety, far below the expected standard • The hotel is old, dirty, and clearly in need of major refurbishment. • Non‑functioning air conditioning, resulting in extremely poor air quality in the room • We had to sleep with the door open just to breathe, which meant listening to all the traffic noise outside throughout the night Overall: This hotel does not meet 5‑star standards in comfort, cleanliness, maintenance, or service. A very disappointing experience.

It was amazing, the room was quite and clean. The house keeping was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful, we got the room very quickly and it was as described in the order.

Pleasant 4 nights trip to Romainia. A little disappointed that the pool/spa/sauna were closed for refurbishment! However, the hotel was close to the Old Town, shops, restaurants and metro/buses for convenience travel around the city and further a field.
