「Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. 「Lovely authentic Tyrolean hotel . Rooms are large and newly renovated. Breakfast is a decent continental selection. A 3 course set dinner menu is available each night though we didn’t try it. The village is beautiful. We didn’t have a car but the bus and train network to neighbouring villages was pretty good and straightforward plus you get a free transport pass with the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the train station is less than 10 minutes walk. All the shops are very close...
