within the expectation but could be doing better!

The breakfast is so-so with very few choices of food. The location is convenient but quiet at night for a good sleep. The bed was comfortable and A/C is good and not too dry. However, the toilet is separate from the wash basin, so, a little bit inconvenient and non-hygenic. The phone inside the room was not yet connected, so, impossible to call room service or reception. There was an ipad in the room for leaving comment and other information, but we left comment to request for body lotion and no response was heard. I also emailed the hotel in advance that we would be celebrating our first wedding anniversary during our stay but no email response was received nor special arrangment was made and I don’t think the receptionist was noticed about that.

We loved the location. The hotel is situated in a quiet street literally one minute away from the Market Square, restaurants, shopping, sights etc. The breakfast was excellent Thee only negative was the actual bedroom . Whilst it was very well appointed and large, it was strange that while the bathroom was beautiful with toiletries, walk in shower etc, the toilet was situated on the other side of the room facing directly on to the bed. What made it awkward was that the toilet was very tiny and had no wash basin, so one has to walk across the room around the dressing room to get to the bathroom to wash your hands. Perhaps not all room are like this, so when booking in request a room that has a toilet in the bathroom area.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung mehr aber auch nicht. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer hat absolut zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Insgesamt hat das Hotel zwar einen ordentlichen Eindruck gemacht aber bei genauerem hinsehen war vieles leider nicht besonders sauber. Was uns auch einfach sehr geärgert hat ist, dass wir im vorraus einen Parkplatz gebucht haben im Hotel, diesen auch vor Ort bekommen haben, wir unsere Gebühr dafür gezahlt haben aber niemand in der Lage war uns darauf hinzuweisen, dass man als Ausländer gar nicht bis zum Hotel hätte fahren dürfen ohne sich nicht vorher bei der Stadtverwaltung anzumelden. Dafür haben wir jetzt eine Strafe über 58€ erhalten. Hätte man uns das vorher bei der Reservierung des Parkplatzes oder vor Ort beim Einchecken gesagt hätte man sich bei der Stadtverwaltung anmelden können (geht auch 5 Tage nach dem Besuch der Stadt noch). Das kostet kein Geld und man hätte sich 58€ Strafe sparen können. Leider war niemand in der Lage uns darauf hinzuweisen.

Spacious room, had air conditioning which was needed as a warm break. Separate toilet didn’t have a sink which I personally didn’t like. Breakfast buffet was varied but it would have been nice to have waffles though I did have a crepe on one occasion which was perfectly pleasant.
