The property is very clean and nicely decorated, and is situated in a quiet, safe residential street. Off-street parking was very easy, but the house is about a mile from the sea. My room was tiny but the bed was very comfortable. The owner is very dog friendly and my dog loved her treats and her spacious garden. I had hoped to go to Bruges by bus, as I'd had a long drive from the north of England but I was informed it would take 3 hours (to travel 9 miles??). The owner insisted on putting the Wifi code into my phone for me, rather than pointing out I could have found the code in a folder in my room. It would also have been easier to leave printed instructions for how to operate the TV (it needed two remote controls), although the maximum volume was very hard to hear, so i didn't watch TV. Also people need to be told that the outside door needs two hands to unlock.

Logement propre et agréable. Bonne literie. Lit d'appoint plus modeste. Bonne situation géographique car proche de la mer et de Bruges tout en étant à la campagne. De bons conseils de la part de la maîtresse de maison pour la visite de Bruges et des environs. Je recommande.

We had a lovely time at B&B Yaca! Our host Imola met us at the door, immediately helped with our bags and got us settled. She made excellent recommendations for us to see Brugge in a non-touristy way, and was so genuine and sweet to us. The home was perfectly clean and ready for our arrival, our room was cozy and warm right from the start. After checked in, we took Imola’s recommendations and visited the Christmas Market in Brugge. Stunning to experience this amazing place in such a festive way! Imola’s recommendations on where to park, what to avoid, where to eat, and where to find the historic sites were spot-on. The next morning, our breakfast was served right on time, and we were met with a lovely and plentiful breakfast of homemade breads, fruits, jam, artisanal meats and cheeses. The coffee was perfect and the meal was the perfect relaxed start to another day in Brugge. Imola treated us like family, and was so kind and generous in her sharing of local history, the culture and charm of not only Brugge, but of the small town of De Haan. We truly felt at home, and are hopeful about returning to B&B Yaca again on our next trip. Highly recommended!!

Rent och personligt

De Haan ligger fint till vid kusten och det finns en lång strand. Det finns spårvagnar som går till Oostende och därifrån går tåg till exempelvis Rygge som jag rekommenderar att man gör iaf en dagsutflykt till! B o B Yaca är ett personligt boende där man har gemensam ingång och hall med värdparet! De är väldigt måna om att man ska ha det bra och serverar en god frukost med bröd och pålägg olika kött och ostar och kokt ägg om man vill ha! (Man kan säkert få annat också om man önskar för hon frågar hela tiden om man saknar något). Jag valde det minsta rummet med våningssäng. Det fanns handfat på rummet och dusch men jag använde duschen i korridoren. Om man ska sova där som par enstaka natt fungerar det nog men annars skulle jag boka ett av de större rummen om jag inte reste ensam. Det är ca 15 min promenad till buss o spårvagn och ca 20 min till stranden!

Urlaub bei Freunden - sehr zu empfehlen!

De Haan ist der schönste Ort an der belgischen Ostsee und das B&B Yaca ist bestimmt dort die schönste Unterkunft. Wir haben uns überaus wohlgefühlt. Alles hat gepasst: vom reichhaltigen Frühstück mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und Brot bis zum bequemen Zimmer. Zum Strand sind es ca. 2 min mit dem Fahrrad (gibt´s zu leihen im Ort) oder 10 min zu Fuß.

Good B&B, great location and friendly team

We stayed in the smaller room which consisted of a double bunk bed. As a family of 3 this suited us well for one night. If we were staying longer we would definitely have booked one of the large rooms. the B&B is easily found and you are greeted by a very warm and friendly team who are very accommodating and really try to make sure you are happy and enjoying your stay. The b&b is well situated and only a easy 15min drive to Brugge. I would recommend staying if you are in the area and are looking for a friendly warm environment.

The owners were very nice and helpful, good and quiet location, but the room was far too small for three people and we had to stay the first night in another hotel because after the booking of our stay, the owners told us that the first night was not possible to stay. They booked at another place for the first night and gave a bottle of Cava for the inconveniences. And we had - despite of the Expedia Confirmation - to pay an extra amount of 30 Euro for the bed for our son per night. All over it was a bit complicate.

Avis sur séjour à De Haan

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, De Haan est une petite station balnéaire très agréable, sans la foule des grandes villes, vaste plage et belle digue. La maison où nous avons été accueillis est jolie, la chambre est assez petite. Il est dommage que la propriétaire des lieux se permette d'entrer dans la chambre dès que nous sommes sortis, 2 fois quand même sur l'après-midi, soit pour vider la poubelle qui n'était pas remplie, soit pour ouvrir la fenêtre sans nous demander notre avis.Elle ne semble pas trouver çà surprenant, mais cela nous a donné un sentiment de non intimité. Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. La propriétaire nous a bien conseillé sur les visites des villages aux alentours et nous avons appréciés le village de Lissewege.
