"This hotel is within walking distance of almost every place we wanted to visit -Fort William Henry, Steamboat cruises, MiniPutt, beautiful park and playground, shops, and restaurants.
There were lots of places to sit and gaze at Lake George - some sunny, some shady, and some protected from rain."
"Couple things I noticed was the shower made a very loud noise that actually caused disturbance for my little one. Also during out night stay somewhere around 8pm I had a knock on my door and someone left a snack outside my door.. then again it was repeated after 10 min and another snack.. to be honest I know it was full with kids but we dont expect this.. guests need to be reminded of not disturbing others on way to your room.."
"Our family loves this place and its the only place we will go when we visit our College student at Castleton. It is very close to the college and the tavern that is on the property is friendly with good food and reasonably priced. Our rooms are always spotless and if you need something - their service is outstanding and quick. The lake is gorgeous - such a peaceful and beautiful spot. When she graduates we will still go back!!"
"I think this is the nicest place to stay in Lake George that’s not going to break the bank. The view from this section of the lake just south of Bolton town is absolutely stunning. It reminds me of Lake Tahoe, but less developed and more magical. It’s great for families or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Every time I’m in Lake George, I stay here. I absolutely love it. The staff is friendly and responsive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And you can see the lake from pretty much anywhere you stay here. I give these guys a five out of five every time. I’ve stayed at a couple of other places in the area but always come back here."
"It was nice that they offered you free breakfast. The breakfast however, was continental and then they also had a Belgian waffle maker, some little cooked eggs and sausage. The breakfast was literally the same all three mornings I went. (But still nice regardless to have something). Our second day there we were out the entire day and came back to the room around 4:45 PM. Our room was still not cleaned. At that point, we just wanted to relax so I had to use the Google translator app to tell the cleaning people not to clean the room today. The next day they “cleaned” the room, however they did not make the beds which I found very odd. I do know they were in our room because they did empty the garbage and change the towels. There is a small gym and a pool, but I did not use them. The location is very good. It is under 10 minutes to Lake George and the outlets are practically right next to you. Overall, I would just say it’s “ok”."
