"Winterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room. This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home. I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered. The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable. The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it. We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...

"We like to stay at this hotel when visiting Dover for it convenient location to the train station, town and the cruise port. But if you would like to be near the water, town, Dover Castle, the ferry, etc this would be a great hotel for those attractions as well. The hotel staff is always friendly and they are always improving the hotel, rooms, exterior, etc. We did not use the onsite restaurants while staying here, but they do offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks."

"Was lovely hotel room was amazing with sea views and of high standard. Staff were extremely good and communication was good. Even had use of sauna which we used and gym if you are fitness mad.Also had a band on Friday which was lovely and food in restaurant was brilliant too. Would certainly be going back and even stroll to town only takes 5/10 minutes."

"This was my third stay here and again everything went well. I was allowed to check in early, greeted with a smile by the receptionist, accompanied to my room and provided with a nice plump pillow upon request. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything worked well. Lovely large tv. Strong shower and a bath also provided. Would definitely recommend for the price."
