「The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and...

「I had a lovely single room with a small fridge and a fan which made a big difference in this heat. My ensuite shower worked well. The toilet was outside the room..which was less convenient though. The room was on the first floor and I have slight mobility issues so that was a bit tricky but James took my luggage up and brought it back down for me..and I got more used to the stairs. The Guest house is clean and bright..and the owners James and Christine are lovely.and friendly. I hope to return...

The breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, providing a perfect start to each day. The property was very clean and well-maintained. 「Vince and Erwan were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, and lovely to talk to. The room was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches (freshly baked lemon cake, pillow mist, selection of drinks and snacks in the room that you could pay extra for), everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We booked our stay due to a funeral, however will definitely consider Villa Marina in future for a stay under better...
