"The hotel is well overdue for a makeover, the staff, however, are excellent, although they forgot to service our room on a 2 night stay. The room was extremely disappointing, being both small & very, very scruffy. The position of the hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring Ilfracombe, if staying again will book direct with the hotel and ask for specific rooms, in all a very enjoyable visit, apart from the accommodation, the breakfast was excellent! Mark and Shirley"

"I would love to keep this gem of a find a secret but that wouldn’t be fair to them!! Sharon and Daryl are so welcoming we felt we had known them for many years, great knowledge and ideas where to go as we hadn’t been to Ilfracombe before. The room spotless with the most comfortable super Kingsize bed and the bathroom amenities were so gorgeous I’ve googled where to source! Where do I start with the breakfast it’s obviously locally sourced as it was absolutely delicious!!! Sharon and Susan give you a super morning greeting and nothing is too much trouble… coffee yummy too!! Can’t wait to return as said by the other guests we met at breakfast!!"

"It was a great stay, nice facilities and amazing staff. The only reason I wouldn't say 5 is: - check in was delayed by an hour or so. - there was no spatula. - the hob fan and light didn't work - the microwave defrost was more like full power. - I didn't know what to do with the bins. Maybe I missed this somewhere. Would stay again"

"I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village."

"I enjoyed my stay. The caravan was clean and tidy and was in a nice position with a view. There was everything you could need for cooking, together with games, dvds, magazines etc. Good to have outdoor space to sit and eat. The site is hilly, maybe not suitable for those with mobility issues. The pool was a nice space. Short walk down (and uphill back) to the beach and cafes etc, great for paddle boarding as it's very sheltered. Great area with lot's of lovely places to visit. Abi was on hand to sort out any issues which was reassuring. Great place to stay 👌"
