「Check-in nice and easy. Bed and pillows super comfy. It was like lying on a cloud and being swallowed up! Great selection for food. We had lunch and went with the fish n' chips. Light batter and non greasy and tasted delicious! Great portions! Also had breakfast and again good selection. Service was excellent! Lovely location off the green and a 2min walk to the sea front with lovely shops in between! Stayed here before and would recommended to anyone to stay here!」

「This pub is a hidden gem! The building is a truly traditional English Pub and serves deliciously proper pub grub. The accommodation is extremely clean and comfy, decorated and fitted out to a high quality. Superb welcome and great stay, highly recommended. Convenient location for visiting this part of Norfolk.」

「Everything was excellent, lovely breakfast beautifully presented, comfortable room, wonderful garden with outside bar. Only problem was the tv not working, apparently a power problem in the area.」

「Absolutely lovely place, Very modern styling, Comfy bedding, Big shower and all round very nice, Unfortunately though, When it came to the bathroom, We found the toliet seat wasn't even bolted on properly in Room 1, It kepts sliding bout when lifting the seat. Was little annoying, and the only other thing that would make it Absolutely the best is a mini fridge to be able to keep food and drinks cold. Other than that, It was absolutely lovely 8.5/10」

「We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. 」

「Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your...
