"Didnt stay due to my wife being rushed into hospital the day we should of arrived phoned them on the evening to tell them we wont be comonig no answer . Phoned nxt day and they said thats fine we'll speak to manager no reply for a day then phoned back they said the same we will speak to manager and while all this is going on they charge me for the room i didnt stay in and a week later still waiting for that phon call"

"On the way to Brixham I had a medical emergency which kept me in A&E at Bristol for some time. Consequently we arrived at 22.50 pm and Steve and Matt couldn't have been more helpful and sympathetic. "Overall a lovely stay. Staff were polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was welcoming and fely cosy. Reception, lobby, lounge, library, bar and restaurant were beautiful but the room we were in was a little tired decor wise. I do love the old features and understand it is an old building but some areas needed a little attention."
