We had a really lovely weekend stay. The setting is gorgeous and the village is beautiful, with the pub offering delicious food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The duplex was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and made a great base for exploring the area. There are a few little things that could be improved, such as some vibration noise from the tray on top of the fridge and the bathroom sensor switching off during the shower. There’s also a raised tile in the shower that’s worth being aware of, and the shower shelf is on a slight slant. These were relatively minor issues and didn’t spoil our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would happily come back.

limited parking at the property on arrival, staff are super friendly and super informative about our stay, helped to get settled into our rooms with an introduction to our room. The room was clean and tidy and plenty of complementary beverages for the room. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and felt relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay!

Charmerende oplevelse

Charmerende pub med fint værelse. Ret stort og med et pænt og stort badeværelse. Hyggelig stemning, og ret stille om natten. Alt det man forventer af et værelse i en lille hyggelig engelsk by

Great communication from The Queens ahead of arrival. There was some local flooding on the day of our arrival and they called to let us know where best to park and how to avoid closed roads. So helpful!

Good alternative

A really good alternative if you want to stay close to Bristol airport but don’t want to pay inflated airport hotel prices. Staff very helpful. In room continental breakfast worked for us with an early departure. Picnic tables out front could do with a bit of attention.
