Fine value for what we paid. Nice location! Fairly quiet neighborhood and dozens of places to eat with a 10 minute walk. Gentlemen: if we take our wives here for our anniversary, we might find we're not celebrating that anniversary the following year if you know what I mean :-)

The hotel was a great place to stay. The staff was very good and helpful.we were able to park on the road.sadly the bar and restaurant was closed as it closes early on a Sunday.You could replace your tea and coffee for your room yourself.Over all a brilliant stay.

Overall, we had a good stay at the Clifton Hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom had been cleaned, but there were still some stains on the toilet, so I think a little more attention to detail with the cleaning would be helpful. The room also didn’t have a fridge, which would have been useful. Unfortunately, the hotel car park was full when we arrived, so we had to park on the street nearby. Despite these small issues, we had a pleasant stay overall and the hotel was good for our trip.

First of all, I want to say that the staff were brilliant. The Receptionist was lovely and so were the restaurant staff. Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. However, the property required a lot of TLC. Our bedroom was absolutely tiny and needed DIY- the carpet was threadbare, the curtain rail was hanging off the wall, the hook in the bathroom was hanging off and the bathroom doorknob was so wobbly we were afraid to close the door in case it fell off. It wasn't the cleanest either, especially the bathroom. All of the plug sockets were in one place in the room and there were none either side of the bed. We were on the 3rd floor. There was a party downstairs on the lower ground that lasted until 1am, the bass of the music was booming and the chatter was incredibly loud. If we had known it would be so loud until the early hours we absolutely would NOT have booked this hotel. We had a terrible night sleep. It is great that the hotel has a parking lot however at £15 a night that felt incredibly steep. An early check in was also £15. All in all the experience was absolutely NOT worth the price we paid.

Lovely hotel in a good location near most things in Bristol. Room is comfortable, a little small, but fine for a couple of nights. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Nice little room, ideal for a short stay. Comfy bed & well appointed bathroom. Faces a busy road, so some traffic noise, but convenient for Clifton village area & buses into & out of city centre.
