Just a hop, skip & a jump, from the VERY REGULAR FREE Loop Bus, into very nearby CBD & back; available from quite early in the mornings, to quite late in the evenings. The Property is in an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Location!

On arrival the staff were very hospitable, offering to hold our luggage before check in being we arrived on a early train into the city, once we had checked in,we found the rooms to be very large, more of an apartment that a hotel set up with full kitchen and laundry. Super close to central station once you are aware of the short cut through the back of the complex. We will stay again.

Great stay

My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights at The Astor Apartments. I had read very different reviews, a lot of them quite negative, so I was postively surprised. The apartment we got was very spacious and had all we needed - including a beautiful view of Brisbane from the 11th floor on the balcony of the apartment. The place was not the cleanest, but it was clean enough for us for the time we stayed. The pool on the 3rd floor was great☺️ We liked staying at the Astor apartments and would recommend to others - the location was really good too, we could walk to most things in town (even with my 6-year old).

The unit was large and had all amenities we needed for our week. It was in a good position and close to everything. The property is quite old and the hallway had a smell that wasn’t nice. The door was also hard to open a lot of times - key sometimes wouldn’t work until we tried it a few times which was annoying. Air con in the room wasn’t great but luckily it wasn’t too hot while we were there

The customer service was good. Polite. Couch was old and torn seating at the back. Rusty bathroom fittings. Needs spare pillows and a fold out sofa. We listed 5 people and only bedding for 4 so had to have 1 on the couch.

Our apartment is a bit old except for the kitchen area which we think was recently renovated. Shower needs extensive cleaning as there are still stains of moulds and grime. Sliding door to the balcony was stiff, hard to open. Aircon might needs fixing too. It doesn't cool the room enough, seems like it's on fan mode even if it's on cool mode. Facilities need more signage especially for rubbish. Took as a while to find out where it is. Other than that, area where the beds, lounge , and dining are, were clean. Beds are comfy. Needs bedside power sockets for easy charging of phones

This place is awesome. I booked 2 rooms, with a Queen bed and 2 single beds. It was decked out with a great cookers kitchen equipped with Miele appliances, and a massive fridge. This beauty had 2 bathrooms, a very spacious living, dining and lounge room, plus a laundry and a balcony all for an incredibly cheap price. We swam in the freezing outdoor pool, then warmed up in the very hot, hot tub. Then relaxed in the sauna to unwind. It was divine There is a massive entertaining area downstairs, with 2 barbecues and seating for over 100 people. The man at front desk was amazing. Looks like he works really hard. The room was clean and stocked with clean linen, towels and cleaning essentials. I was very impressed. Definitely money well spent

Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room had clean sheets but unfortunately most of the cleanliness stopped there. The room I was in had a few visible cockroaches, mould and the bathroom could do with a really deep clean not just a wipe over. Leather couches are very worn, all furniture has age and wear marks. Bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Felt very much like it was a “that will do” when the furnishings were chosen. It’s not that I wouldn’t recommend this place but for the price you can get something a lot nicer with responsive building managers. The residents who live there are lovely though. Bottom line, if it’s on special, it’s a nice big apartment. But for full price you can get something cleaner and nicer even just across the road at the Punthill or Mantra. The Cafe “Jak and Hill” across the road serves amazing food!

This was taken at checkout as I wanted to be sure to get my deposit back. I washed the mat on the floor, all the throw pillows, blankets and sheets again as it just felt unclean. The couches sink and the leather is peeling off.

Staff were amazing, and we were able to leave cases while we waited for our room. We were on floor 13, absolutely stunning views, especially at night when all lights were on. Apartment was excellent, everything you needed was there. Excellent stay, location was great, definitely recommend the Astor Apartments
