It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated.

There were some really great things about the property, but for the money it should have been immaculate and it was not. The bathroom was lovely, but if you had a bath, the hotel provided toiletries were not accessible. There were no hand towels. The supply of teas and coffees was stingy. The stair carpet needed a good clean. Breakfast was very good.

Lovely room and such warm staff that make you feel at home and taken care of. Only thing is that there is no lift and it can be a bit of a treck to get all the way up to the top floor using the narrow staircase! Otherwise very cosy and lovely stay.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms well presented and clean. Excellent choice of breakfast menu, served well presented and some different options to chose from. The only downside to this property is the parking as it does not have its own spaces and parking in Brighton is not easy due to all the new road changes taking place. The hotel is situated on a quiet square with a public garden. Just a short walk to the beach and town amenities.

Cocktails in fridge along with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Very short walk to beach, a bit further into the centre of Brighton. Highly recommend
