「Absolutely beautiful site with large swimming pool and spa. The buildings are over 100 years old with trees around. Extremely large front garden. Great for pictures. Exceptional venue for wedding. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again. Thank you.」

「The room was tidy and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived early and placed our case in the room when if was ready. My wife really enjoyed the spa which is located a short walk across the road from the hotel. We would have preferred an self service open buffet style continental breakfast」

「I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening.」

「The staff was great and it’s a beautiful venue, unfortunately there was no AC, food at breakfast ran out, the noise level from dogs, other guest and parties was intolerable. Lastly, the spa sauna was broken and the hot tub as well.」

「Was disappointed as I booked with Expedia, expecting to be able to use the facilities at the hotel. On checking in, I enquired about the facilities and was informed that if I had booked directly with the hotel, I would have been able to use the pool and gym and get breakfast included. To use the gym and pool, I would have to pay extra.」
