Older, rustic rooms but very clean, well maintained and a great location. Unique property with kids fishing pond and a really cool gathering/BBQ area where they have bonfires in the evening.
The exterior was beautiful and well maintained. I have drive my here for decades and this is the first time I stayed here, normally I would stay in town or bring my RV and stay at friends property. The room was bit dated and the bed was on the firm side. The room was clean and that is the most important factor for me. Overall it met my needs, for a night stay and a shower.
I loved everything about this place. The people who take care of it or so accommodating and wholesome and welcoming. Even the Housekeeping staff was exceptionally friendly and warm. It was exceptionally clean with all the amenities and a perfect location. There was a beautiful trail adjacent and we all got acquainted at a campfire. I loved the human quality. This is a stark difference …opposite extreme of the negative experience I had at corporate conglomerate competitor who I can’t mention. I regretfully had to spend 2 “days in” that place 😩
Very clean property. I only used it to sleep and clean up. They did not service the room any of the three days I was there, which was not a major issue. My only suggestions would be to supply better soap and more caffeinated coffee packets. There were only 2 for my three days stay.
Check in was efficient and pleasant. The room was clean and the air conditioner cooled everything down quickly. The walls are pretty thin and if the neighbors are loud you will hear them. The restaurant across the highway was pretty good, but if you’re walking, be careful making your way across! Make note that the motel is not in Bridgeport but 5 miles away.
Best family trip location! Close to the entrance to Yosemite as well as a couple of lakes and great hiking. Campfire s’mores for the kids and wine for the adults - good company all around! This is a place you’ll return to year after year!
This is the cleanest, cutest, quaintest little motel!! We loved it and it had everything we needed for our stay. Beds we’re comfortable and the kitchenette was perfect. We will stay here again when we are in the area.
Awesome place. Quaint and very well-kept. Kitchen was awesome to have to prepare food for hikes. The staff were so friendly. Will definitely come back.
Staff were amazing and the room was super cute. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The evening bonfire and s’mores were a fun touch! Wish I could have stayed longer.
This was a lovely place with nice trails to walk and close to places we wanted to visit. The only thing I think would be helpful is if they had a little more lighting in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were older, but well maintained, not lavish, but practical. On site laundry was convenient and reasonably priced. Although we didn't have time, there was a fire pit where Smores were served during the evening. A fun chance to meet your fellow travelers. Motel is out in the country with the nearest town being Bridgeport 5 miles away. Another motel (smaller) and restaurant were across the street. Motel was very convenient for our visit to Bodie ghost town.
A great place to stay when passing through the area, we wish we could have stayed longer. We had a cabin with a full kitchen and it exceeded our expectations in size, cleanliness, and amenities. A welcome place to cook a meal while on the road and even though we arrived 10 minutes after the office closed, they left me a note on the door and a kind voicemail inviting us to join them around the community fire pit that evening. It's a gem and we're so glad we found this place.
Small rooms and a very small shower, everything else, is great. Had a on property laundry, a community shower for RV’S ers, shop vac, movies to share and books to read. Water hose to use, fish cleaning table and marshmallow sticks and a gas grill you can use to cook your favorite meat on. I would stay again despite the small shower.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Everything is good except the fact that you are traveling back in time, probably to the year it was established - 1953! The room is super old, the bathroom needs complete restoration… It’s very overpriced, I stayed at much better hotels for these money.
Staff was nice, room is clean, territory is lovely.
